INNOVATIVE CHILDREN’S VIRTUAL POETRY READING BY LOCAL POETS! Jacksonville, Florida
“Read A Poem To A Child” is a 100 Thousand Poets for Change literacy initiative introducing children to poetry that takes place annually each September. A group of local poets from the North Florida Poetry Hub decided the best way to get in front of kids despite COVID restrictions, was to make a video andmake it available on their YouTube channel. The finished product is a fun and interactive nine-minute video geared for kids to entertain and introduce them to poetry.
